  • Amrita bags the coveted CSI National Award for it's HIS solutions at PCMC, Pune

    The "CSI IT Excellence Award 2012" in Healthcare Solutions- Infrastructure and Solutions was awarded to Amrita Technologies for the implementation of  "Hospital Information Management System for Pimpri Chinchwad Hospitals, Pune " by the Computer Society of India, the largest association of IT professionals in India. This award is rated the best in the industry and 76 leading private and public organization participated in this year's competition under various categories. The award was presented during the 46th National Annual Convention of CSI held on December 1 at Science city, Kolkata. Amith Balakrishnan and Jithesh Prasad received the award on behalf of Amrita Technologies from the Union Civil Aviation Minister Shri Ajit Singh.

  • Amrita Technologies opens new Development Center

    Amrita Technologies announced the opening of a brand new development center in Kollam, Kerala. This center, which has already expanded to around 40 employees, is going to be focussed on product innovation and delivery for Amrita's various healthcare clients, that include several large public and private hospitals in India and abroad. The center will work in tandem with Amrita Technologies' larger development offices at the AIMS hospital complex in Kochi, Kerala.   • BHU selects Amrita HIS to automate its premier 1,400 bed Sir Sundar Lal Hospital :

    Benaras Hindu University has signed up Amrita Technologies to implement and deploy it's state of the art Hospital Management Software at the Sir Sundar Lal Hospital – a premier Tertiary care Hospital providing specialty and Super Specialty services to the health care needs of about 20 Crore population of Eastern UP, Western Bihar, adjoining MP, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand as well as neighboring country of Nepal.   • Amrita HMIS, implemented by HP in Maharashra, bags the E-governance award :

    Pune : The ambitious hospital management information system of Maharashtra has bagged the e-governance award from among 444 nominations and online voting for the best project in e-health. In three years, a total of 11 lakh patients have been given their health identification numbers at four government hospitals in Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad and Nagpur. Apart from faster dispensation of medication to the patients at the pharmacy through online prescriptions with few errors, the hospital management information system (HMIS) has reduced the waiting time for patients by making online data available about their medical history.

    04 Nov 2009: Today Amrita Technologies signed an HIS implementation contract with St. Gregorios Medical Mission Hospital, Parumala.     Mumbai’s Grant medical college and J J hospital has become the first government medical establishments that is enjoying the benefits of Amrita HIS under MEDD project.
