Amrita Launches BARC project

   

 

April 14, 2005: Indramohan Shadeven, Chief Operating Officer, Amrita Technologies today announced the launch of a 12-month project with BARC to install Amrita Healthcare Informatics Suite in hospitals under the purview of Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC).

 

Amrita HIS will enable Bhabha Atomic Research Centre more efficient and cost-effective ways to leverage healthcare services to its constituents. The partnership will also accelerate the ability of

BARC to disseminate life-saving information to its members in the event of a major health emergency.

Through this partnership, BARC will be able to reach out to all its members in matters pertaining to healthcare and health in general -- whether it is how to read a food label properly so they can make smart choices about what they eat, or how to talk to their doctors.
