BHU selects Amrita HIS to automate its premier 1,400 bed Sir Sundar Lal Hospital
Benaras Hindu University has signed up Amrita Technologies to implement and deploy it's state of the art Hospital Management Software at the Sir Sundar Lal Hospital – a premier Tertiary care Hospital providing specialty and Super Specialty services to the health care needs of about 20 Crore population of Eastern UP, Western Bihar, adjoining MP, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand as well as neighboring country of Nepal. Amrita Technologies is a world leader in healthcare informatics, one of the few CCHIT certified vendors in the world, renowned for providing enterprise-grade software solutions. Amrita will implement its Health Care Management System including Hardware and networking components for BHU on a turnkey basis.
The Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS)
The Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) is a state of the art 100-seat medical college and 500-bed hospital spread over 56 acres of land in Jalandhar. Amrita HIS will enable PIMS more efficient and cost-effective ways to leverage healthcare services to its patients in Jalandhar and nearby localities. The partnership will also accelerate the ability of PIMS to disseminate life-saving information to its members in the event of a major health emergency.
NRI Academy of Sciences (NRIAS)
NRI Academy of Sciences (NRIAS) is promoted by a small consortium of 32 NRI doctors from USA who were all born and brought up in Guntur and Krishna Districts of Andhra Pradesh. Amrita Technologies will help NRIAS to automate its healthcare by providing its state of the art healthcare solution- Amrita HIS. NRIAS will benefit from Amrita's industry expertise, technology leadership and extensive services capabilities to provide world class service to its clients and patients. This will enable NRIAS to create an environment that delivers applications on demand, conveniently and securely.
Health Care Management System (HCMS)
Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation operates two multi specialty hospitals, six maternity & general hospitals and fifteen dispensaries in Pimpri Chinchwad. Amrita Technologies will implement a Health Care Management System (HCMS) for all its Out Patient Departments (Project). The Project shall cover all Out Patient Departments (OPD) and support services like registration counters, pathology, microbiology, cytology, radiology, pharmacy, stores, billing. The HCMS shall maintain patient records on a web based platform for retrieval and modifications from various OPDs, hospital, dispensary and health extension counters within PCMC limits.
St. Gregorios Medical Mission Hospital
St. Gregorios Medical Mission Hospital was started in 1975, and was registered under the Travancore — Cochin Literacy, Scientific and Charitable Act with Reg No. A334/78. The Institution is owned and controlled by the society of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, the head of which is His Holiness Baselious Marthoma Didimos I, The Catholicose of the Apostolic throne of St. Thomas and of the minority Malankara Orthodox Syrian Christian Community.
Government of Maharashtra
Amrita Technologies is being chosen for one of the biggest healthcare initiatives in India by the Government of Maharashtra. Under this project, it plans to integrate all the medical colleges and teaching hospitals under Medical Education and Drugs Department (MEDD). The project would be implemented by Hewlett Packard and Amrita Technologies on a 'build, own operate and refresh' (BOOR) basis.The project is one of the largest of its kind in India in terms of number of Healthcare functionaries involved. The contract will enable MEDD more efficient and cost-effective ways to leverage its healthcare services to public.
Sassoon General Hospital
Sassoon General Hospital is a large state run hospital in Pune. Sassoon General Hospital has over 1500 beds. The B.J. Medical College as well as a Nurses Training School are attached to the hospital. SGH is also one of the four centres in Maharashtra for free anti-retroviral therapy to people living with HIV as identified by the National AIDS Control Organisation. Amrita HIS is implemented at the hospital as a part of an overall MEDD contract with the intend to connect all the important hospitals in Maharastra.
The Government Medical College & Hospital, Aurangabad
The Government Medical College & Hospital, Aurangabad was established in 1956 & has been providing medical services to the people of Marathwada region round the clock for the last 50 years. The hospital that started with 300 beds in 1960 is presently equipped with 1050 beds. Amrita HIS is being implemented in the hospital as a part of MEDD contract.
The Government Medical College, Nagur
The Government Medical College, Nagur, is a premier medical institute of Central India. The college was established in 1947 and was inaugurated by the first president of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad. The campus is stretched over a area of 196 acres. Amrita HIS is being implemented in this Medical college and the hospital attached to this institution having 1401 beds with updated facilities.
Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals
Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals is the largest referral hospital in the Maharasthra State. Sir J. J. Hospital alone has more than 30,000 indoor admissions every year and more than 5 lakhs out patients every year. The hospital being a Government hospital is giving free service to all the patients. Mumbai's Grant medical college and J J hospital were the first government medical establishments to benefit from Amrita HIS under MEDD project.
Navi Mumbai Municpal Coorporation
Navi Mumbai Municpal Coorporation has entrusted Amrita Technologies with the implementation of Healthcare Management Information System including Hardware, LAN and WAN for NMMC Healthcare facilities on a turnkey basis to be implemented at all of their healthcare facilities including UHPs (Urban Health Post) as well as Maternal and Child Health Centers along with the referral hospital at Vashi.
B.L.Kapoor Memorial Hospital
Amrita Technologies is awarded the contract to automate Dr. B.L Kaupur Memorial Hospital, New Delhi. Situated on Pusa Road, B.L.Kapoor Memorial Hospital is equipped with the most advanced medical facilities and well educated staffs. According to the contract, Amrita will install the latest upgrade of AMRITA HIS System software developed by ATPL and presently running at AIMS, Kochi or any other hospital, on AS IS WHERE IS’ basis.
Bhabha Atomic Research Centre
BARC was started in 1957, as the Atomic Energy Establishment, Trombay (AEET), and became India's primary nuclear research centre, taking over charge of most nuclear scientists that were at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. After Homi J. Bhabha's death in 1966, the centre was renamed as the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. Amrita HIS enables Bhabha Atomic Research Centre more efficient and cost-effective ways to leverage healthcare services to its constituents. The partnership will also accelerate the ability of BARC to disseminate life-saving information to its members in the event of a major health emergency.

The Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Cochin, Kerala, India was established in 1998 to provide affordable medical care in a patient–friendly atmosphere and in a spirit of compassion, previously beyond the reach of the common man. AIMS is an 1300–bed, charitable, super specialty hospital, equipped with state–of–the–art medical facilities. AIMS provides dedicated patient care and endeavours to improve its services on a constant, ongoing basis. Amrita Hosptial Informatics Suite was initially developed as an inhouse project for the use of AIMS.
The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences
The National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences is a multidisciplinary Institute for patient care and academic pursuit in the frontier area of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences. This hospital and All India Institute of Mental Health established in 1954 by Government of India were amalgamated on 27th December 1974, and thus was formed the autonomous National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS). Amirta HIS is being implemented in this Institute that functions under the direction of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Karnataka.

Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd (KRCL)
Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd (KRCL) currently owns a unique Railway Application Package (RAP) that is comprehensive and covers all the functionality required for any railroad company. The current system has been developed during the 90's using the legacy Client-Server model. Amrita was awarded the project to re-architect the existing RAP application to contemporary J2EE technology and to improve the architecture of the present solution to provide for better functionality and scalability. The project is being developed using open source technologies.
